What to bring

  • The vehicle title, or loan/lease account info if it's financed
  • A valid driver's license for every owner on the title
  • Your current registration

Do I have to buy a car to get my trade-in appraised?
No. We'll give you a written offer on your vehicle whether or not you buy anything from us. It's good for 7 days, so you can shop it around or think it over.
How is my trade-in value calculated?
We pull your vehicle's CarFax history and cross-reference current Nashville-area auction and retail data, then a member of our team does a hands-on inspection — engine, frame, interior, and a short test drive — before we put a number in writing.
What if I still owe money on my current loan?
That's normal and we handle it directly with your lender as part of the paperwork. If your trade-in value is higher than your payoff, the difference comes off your new purchase or goes to you as cash. If you owe more than it's worth, we'll walk you through the options honestly.
Can I trade in a car that isn't running?
In most cases, yes — it just affects the number. Tell us about the issue when you reach out so we can give you a realistic range before you tow it in.
I'm from out of state. Can you still handle the trade-in?
Yes. Out-of-state titles are common and we process the Tennessee title transfer paperwork as part of the deal — no extra DMV trip required on your end.
How long does the whole process take?
